Her work has been described as powerfully stunning—stopping viewers in their tracks while evoking emotions ranging from serenity and wonder to mischief, determination, and inner strength.

Artist Statement

For me, art serves a deeply practical and essential purpose: it illuminates the unseen, reminds us of life’s impermanence, guides our perceptions toward beauty, and highlights the urgency to be present. Essentially, it invites us to witness and fully participate in the precious and fleeting time we have.

My attention is drawn to the natural world and the ineffable conversations that arise with the animate forces that transcend and include the human psyche. These encounters shape my creative process, inspiring imagery that speaks to something greater than, but embracing the individual journey.

In my series Totems, animals emerge as messengers, anchoring an awareness of our connection to the larger web of life. Using layers of acrylics, charcoal, and oils, my process becomes a dialogue with the unknown, revealing insights and meaning along the way.

The resulting imagery dances between abstraction and refinement, reflecting the way life’s themes come into focus and then recede over time, weaving the story that becomes a life. Through my work, I seek to evoke this interplay and offer viewers a window into the interconnected mystery of existence.
